Despite a rainy day at the beach, film stars shone in Piaget splendour at this year’s annual Independent Spirit Awards ceremony. Numerous attendees, nominees and presenters chose to celebrate this grand event with Piaget creations.
Lisa Kudrow looked stunning in a necklace and matching ear-rings in white gold, diamonds and black jade, while Javier Bardem had a pink gold Rectangle à l’Ancienne on his wrist.
Piaget’s guest of honour Maggie Cheung wore two rings from the Limelight collection, one inspired by a disco ball, and the other an imposing white gold signet ring set with baguette-cut diamonds. Her thumb was adorned with a Possession ring in diamonds and black sapphires, and her watch was a white gold and diamond Magic Hour model. Meanwhile, Jada Pinkett Smith had opted for a Possession yellow gold bangle bracelet lit up with nine diamonds.
Irrfan Khan sported a pink gold square-shaped Altiplano watch. “Juno” producer Russell Smith accepted the Best Feature Award wearing a white gold Altiplano watch. Zoe Saldana had paired white gold and diamond ear-rings inspired by a honeycomb pattern with a majestic diamond-pavé white gold ring set with a superb white South Sea pearl.
Host Rainn Wilson kept the show running on time with his Piaget Polo white gold watch. Dawn Hudson shone in Possession yellow gold hoop ear-rings, along with a yellow gold and diamond ring set with a peridot and inspired by the architecture of the Eiffel Tower – a model from the soon-to-be-unveiled Limelight Paris - New York collection. A Limelight ring adorned with a pink tourmaline, pink sapphires and diamonds sparkled on the graceful hand of Tamara Podemski. Anna Kendrick had chosen white gold and diamond ear-rings evoking the airy lightness of champagne bubbles, while Emmanuelle Seigner wore a white gold gold Possession watch.
