Michael Bastian partners Piaget to deliver Fashion Week's most sizzling show

New York, NY — Continuing to show its support for fashion and today’s rising talent, renowned Swiss watchmaker Piaget teamed up for the first time with young menswear designer, Michael Bastian for his Spring 2010 runway show. The result—sexy, yet sophisticated styles that left editors wanting more.

"Michael is taking an exciting new direction for this season's show and he felt Piaget's luxury timepieces would be the perfect accessory," says Larry Boland, President of Piaget North America. "He's one of the most important voices in men's fashion today and we are proud to be partnering with him."

Piaget watch Manufacure worked closely with Michael Bastian to hand select the perfect timepieces to accessorize his runway looks. Styles include the classic ultra-thin Piaget Altiplano and rose gold Protocole XXL and the Piaget Polo FortyFive - the company's new titanium, steel and rubber sport watch. Bastian also specifically requested two vintage 18K gold Piaget Polo watches that he felt were perfect for the moment. This is especially fitting as 2009 marks the 30th anniversary of the company's historic Piaget Polo timepieces.

The Michael Bastian partnership is the latest effort in Piaget’s longstanding love affair with fashion and the arts. The firm has plans to team up again with Michael Bastian later this Fall.
